Global Blindness Data Out

Staggering data released in new meta-analysis of population based data sets published between 1980-2015. The paper was published in Lancet 02/08/17. The data estimates 36 million blind, 217 million with moderate to severe vision impairment and an often forgotten measure of 667 million affected by uncorrected presbyopia.
